The OPTIC exhibition opens TODAY and will continue through the summer until 29th September at Taliesin Create, Swansea University Singleton Campus. Come along to see how The Climate Comic is being made, play the OPTIC game, and create your own comic panel for a chance to win a £25 book voucher.
OPTIC (Understanding Older and younger people’s Perspectives and Imaginaries of Climate change) is a one-year project funded by University of Stirling’s Healthy Ageing Challenge and supported by the Centre for Ageing and Dementia Research. The research seeks to understand older and younger people’s climate change perceptions, imaginaries and behaviours in place, in order to create environments for ageing that offer greater health and wellbeing benefits, while contributing to more sustainable futures.
Taliesin Create is open every day from 9am-4pm, with the best days to visit being Tues 1 August; Thurs 10 – Wednesday 16 August; Mon 28 August; Mon 4 Sept; Sat 9 – Sun 10 Sept; Weds 13 – Thurs 14th Sept; Mon 18 – Fri 29 Sept. The exhibition is open on other days, but the space may get very busy with other University events.
